Do you possess a discipline specific qualification equivalent to the qualification being taught? I.E. L2 Gym Instructor, L3 Personal Trainer or L3 Sports Massage Qualification.
Do you have relevant industry experience?
Can you demonstrate active involvement in a process of industry relevant Continued Professional Development during the last two years?
If you can answer ‘yes’ to the above then why not pass your skills , knowledge and experience on to others.
Active IQ L3 Award in Education and Training
Introduction The aim of this qualification is to provide learner with the knowledge and skills to be able to educate and train individuals and/or groups. This qualification provides learners with the knowledge and skills to enter in to the education sector.
Learners must be 19 + and do not need to be in a teaching role however learners do need to be competent in the area in which they wish to teach.
Learners must complete the one mandatory unit (3 credits) and an additional 9 credits from the optional units

Assessment Coursework, Portfolio of Evidence, Practical Demonstration/Assignment (video recorded and submitted)
You will work on a 1 to 1 basis or a group setting with learners at a venue local to you both. You will be responsible for getting the learner through their entire qualification. You will only be required to teach the practical aspect of courses as learners have access to our very own e-learning system. By teaching this way it puts less stress on our tutors.
