Frequently Asked Questions
Why are there no theory exams, every other course has them? A = Because this is what the awarding body sets and instead of exams you have extra workbooks to complete in order to meet the unit criteria.
Is this a legit course? A = Of course it is, Innovate Awarding courses are recognised by professional bodies such as REP's and CIMPSA, therefore its recognised by all employers within the fitness industry.
How long does it take to pass? A = It depends on you the learner - what time you have to afford to doing your course work.
Whats required to complete/pass a course? A = A series of course workbooks need completing and a practical assessment.
Why is my nearest assessment centre Huddersfield? A = Because it's where we are based and where we have relationships with gyms for the assessments. We offer up to £45 back to those who come to us for a practical assessment In Huddersfield depending upon how far away they live from our assessment centre; therefore if you enrol to the L2 + L3 combined course that's £90 back meaning you've only paid £695 (current special offer price as of April 2018) for your course!
What learning materials do I receive? A = You receive e-learning only and various course workbooks with questions to complete.
Can you help us find employment upon qualification? A = Yes, we give graduates advice on how to find work and our graduates can also register with our partner Gym Recruitment in order to find employment.
Why is your course so cheap? A = Because we are not greedy! Learners work via home study with e-tutor support, so the contact time is less than with some other providers, hence learners pay less. It might not be a course choice for everyone but if your an experienced and confident gym trainer, you should be just fine in choosing us as your course provider.
Are there any set training days? A = No there are no set days meaning you don't have to take any time off work or commit your free weekend time to training days. You will need to attend a practical assessment which is arranged with you and your assessor and that is all.
Why do I have to provide a client for my assessment? A = You obviously need someone else to instruct, but you can pay for a client to be provided (Huddersfield only) and there is a fee of £25 for this. This fee covers the payment processing costs which we would occur and £20 is paid for the time of the client provided for you to do your assessment, therefore we don't do this for making a profit out of learners.
